Cabarrus Sibshops
is a support program for kids 3rd thru 8th grades who have a brother or sister with special needs.  Outside of the mother, siblings spend more time with the child with special needs than any other person.  Sibshops give sibs an opportunity to meet with peers to discuss their joys and concerns of having a brother or sister with a disability. Sibs participate in games and team building activities, crafts, food, and Letters to "Aunt Blabby" (a time to brainstorm solutions for common concerns).  Sibs often get a chance to prepare their own lunch such as pizza, nachos, pancakes, etc.  Most of all,

Sibshops are fun!

Cabarrus Sibshops meets the 4th Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. during the school year.  Fee is $5 per session and scholarships are available for those in need.  Lunch is included.
(Please note that due to holidays falling on the 4th Saturday, Sibshops may be rescheduled.)

Please call The Arc of Cabarrus at 704-788-1616 for more information or to register for your child.
